excell exhaust

I got exceel exhaust. Install was easy and it sounds great. I just put some gas in the tank that i had laying around the garage to start it. it ran bad so i got new gas. After that it runs great but now the fuel gauge is blinking and the warning light is blinking. So why are they blinking?

Check again to see if the gauge is telling you a diagnostic code?

where would that show up?

it will show up on the gauge where the speed is indicated , if i remember it will say code xx (xx = numbers )

nope. nothing theres just the speed a blinking gas gauge blinking gas pump and blinking warning light

You didn't connect your fuel gauge is why it is blinking at you.

wheres that at? because the electrical connection ontop of the fuel tank is plugged in

the float connection should be at the top front of the tank, like on the engine side of the tank.
