I hope I'm posting this in the proper area for starters. I am working on my first boosted sled and have a couple of issues I'm looking for input on. I am building a stage 3 supercharged Apex and plan to run a set of excell headers. (Are there any other designs worth looking into?) My problem is I have heard numerous Apex's with the full excell system and find it way to loud for where I will be running this. I was considering running dual flow through mufflers with a crossover pipe or x pipe to reduce sound levels. Has anyone tried this and if so what where your results? Any input on a good exhaust system that flows well for power but looks some what stock would be appreciated.
Thx Dan

Are you running just the headers with stock exhaust or are you running aftermarket exhaust to.

we have been working with an exhaust manufacturer and we now have a race exhaust for the supercharged apex.We are getting ready to build a trail friendly version of it with dual tail pipes

Right now all I have is the stock exhaust. My Plan was to pick up a set of headers and either run the stock box or something with a trail friendly exhaust note. (I really want a As quiet an exhaust that wont sacrifice power too much) The complete excell systems I have heard are too loud for my application. I'd be ticketed at every stop.
Dave let me know when the system becomes available!

I am looking at a dual outlet one myself, more power little more noise is ok but not too much. I have a beat up bender I was going to try and make work.
