Sounds like its time to do the doughnuts again. 5,900 miles and there in need again, last time i took it to the dealer, was thinking about doing it myself this time. How hard is this to do? Also possibly thinking about just going with the hindle system with db reducer, just worried it will be to loud, tried a hauck husher and there isnt no husher about. Just dont need any problems with dnr here in wisconsin.

It's not too hard to do, just time consuming. If you go with an exhaust that uses the donuts, go with the copper ones. They last much longer than the factory ones, which i think are made out of string cheese.

Not a big job to replace, can be done in about an hour and a half, most work is removing body panels, seat and tank.
If you do decide to tackle the job yourself do yourself a favor and grind a mm off the spacer in the clamp so it can be tightened down more. I replaced my donuts at 7500 km and they were gone, just put the hindle system on at 12,000 km and they were still in excellent shape.

Have to agree. Not very hard to do. Just don't break the flex pipe. If you do be careful when removing the bolt in the head. Get copper or a Hindle. No donuts.
