Is there anyway to make the round exhaust gaskets last longer on the Flexible pipe to the main pipe. The factory ones lasted 9000kms the ones I put in last time have only last 5000kms. Is there anything else that could be done to the clamps to seal them up better. The only thing that has happened is the machine has backfired a few times from the KILL switch being bumped. Would this be enough to cause the gaskets to fail sooner.

Maybe some High Temp Silicone may help keep things together better. But, I have to tell you, I have 8,000 miles on my origonal ones and they are still good.
