So I did an oil change on my Phazer a while back and removed the weep hole bolt in the exhaust to check oil pressure. Weep hole was more like a stream of oil. Got all over the exhaust heat shield insulation/fiberglass. Cleaned up and put it back together. After running the sled to burn off the oil it started on fire. Insulation is still loaded with oil so I had to order a new heat shield 8GC-14627-00-00. Problem is it's on back order and no ETA. Any idea what I can put in there for the mean time that won't burn or catch on fire? Can I run without the insulation. Almost lost my sled - good thing the garden hose was still hooked up and not frozen because the fire extinguisher couldn't get to the fire.
