Exhaust support for apex exhaust pipe

Hi I have a 06 rtx I was wondering if anybody no s what the part number of the bracket that holds exhaust up at the connection of head pipe and muffler I don't have one on my 06 need help

Check the parts fiche for newer Apex. The center support did not show up in the Apex chassis until after Yamaha saw that in time the exhaust would sag with age and start to be damaged by the track. Check on sleds from 09 & up.

Hi I have a 06 apex rtx I heard there is a problem with exhaust pipe collapsing dose anybody have a part number for the the support on muffler wear it connect to header pipes I looked on my buddy's 09 and it was there mine did not come with it and I looked up a 09 on the fesh but could not find it please help,I don't want my breaking on the trail want to fix it before I go ridding. Thanks

I have never seen a support anywhere but at the front of the Ypipes and at the rear on the muffler itself.
Maybe post a pic of the fiche and circle the spot you are talking about.
Never had a pipe collapse. Have had the Ypipes break at the exhaust donuts up front and at the 2 into 1 of the exhaust pipe leading to the muffler.

Hi this bracket wen the muffler splits I saw it on a 09 apex rtx sorry the pic is not as good but that's the best I can get

That bracket you are looking for is part number 8FR-2194L-00-00 but you will either need to have an 08 or later muffler assembly or have a plate welded onto your 06 as the 06-07 muffler assemblies don't have the location to bolt it up to that bracket on them.
