total noob here thinking about getting into sledding. after a little research i think this is the sled i'd really like to have. i've seen great price variations and was looking for opinions on what would be a decent price to pay for a new one. if i get this i have a lot to learn that's for sure. as best i can tell the 2011 is only available in one color scheme and i prefer the candy red color. also wondering what if any changes are known to have been made between the 2010 and 2011. i'm in NJ so is seems the price is going to be a little higher then out west or north. barring this i may continue looking for a used sled, there was a local guy that had a 2007 attack for a good price but unfortunately when i called it had been sold. thanks

You certainly made a great choice. I love everything about my '10 LTX-GT.
I would say right now a fair price on a leftover new one would be around $8,500-9000 They listed for $10,700 so I can't see much more than $2,000 off right now.
If you can wait until the dealers have the '11s on hand, I would bet that the '10 prices will drop even more.

thanks catman, those number are exactly what i was thinking. i "think" i know where one is and was hoping to get it for no more than $8800. not being familiar with the industry i was wondering if the price on the 2010 might actually go up or at the least hold fast as the season approaches. also being as best i can tell they're not really changing anything from the 2010 to the 2011 it's essentially the same sled i thought that as well might keep the price up. might have to get a handful of franklins and go see what they say, i kinda have a woody for this sled.

You don't have to tell me were this sled is but if you decide not to buy it or if they have more please let me know I have a friend in NJ who is looking for a 2010 vector ltx gt as well. Thanks

I looked all over for a 2010 Vector LTX GT and believe me their hard to find. You might find a new one but Yamaha as of right now has no rebates on left over sleds. If you buy a used one im sure its gunna be cheaper but Yamaha's are holding their value very well right now.
The new Apex is almost $15,000 with taxes and the new Vector's went up in price too so used Apex's and Vector's will not be a cheap find.....unless you find someone who's desperate or getting a divorce hahaha lol God bless ya then.
I just found a used 2010 Vector LTX GT out of State and locked it in for this winter. It was tough to find, I searched all summer and the left over 2010 are still up their in price.
Good luck with your search.
