time for opions, does anybody have thoughts about either of these skids I was thinking about expert x in a 144" for my apex attak. But don't think it would hold-up to the abuse of aggressive riding.

Huh? Of all the skids available from ANYONE, ExpertX is THE skid for withstanding abusive riding. I've never hesitated to pin the throttle on 3 foot moguled hill climbs.northernguy10 said:But don't think it would hold-up to the abuse of aggressive riding.
ZX2 is a newer skid, very similar in design to the ExpertX. It is experiencing some development pains, but I don't think I've heard of any MAJOR issues, mostly more-loctite-required issues and a few issues with the mounting templates.
If you decide on the ExpertX, when ordering, try to talk them into upgrading your shocks to the ZX2 shocks as they are significantly more advanced than the shocks that come with the ExpertX. They have stated that they will offer them as an upgrade for existing ExpertX owners once they are no longer short on supply, I don't know if this state has arrived yet or not.
Either should be a GREAT choice.

If you talk to anyone at Boivin they will tell you the the ZX2 is designed for under 200hp and the Expert is able to withstand more than that. I have two 03 RX's with Experts and could not be happier. BUT i want to try the shock revalving from Pioneer
