Extended Warranty??

I am getting a 2008 Nytro FX. Dealer wants to know if I want an additional 2 years of warranty which will give me a total of 5 years coverage. Cost is $250. It is transferrable if I ever sell the sled. Would you recommend getting it or would it be a waste of money? I have to let him know by Monday!!

You could sell it 3 years down the road with 2 years left of warranty. Quite a selling feature for $250.

all i know is i had to buy 2 extra years for $800.00 when i bought my warrior last march................or was it 3..............cant remeber but i looked at it as cheap insurance for the motor.

get it for sure,I have 5 years of coverage on my Apex GT and am very happy i do, as much as I have to get the broken shock wires and shock fixed!!

With a first year sled $250 is a bargain. I got the 5 year plan when I bought my 2003 What I have found is Yamaha has a tendency to go a little more above and beyond with wearable parts when you have this coverage. 250 is very cheap insurance and I have more than made my money back in covered repairs or customer gestures. I paid about $700 for 5 years if I recall. Seems like a no brainer to me.
