Can you do a 128 to a 136 ext. and not have to do a tunnel ext? I have a 136 track that is studded and I was wondering if there would be andy clearance issues with the heat exchanger and the studs. I am possibly going to buy a 2012 apex 128 and I am wondering if anyone has done this. Thanks for any help.

Correct me if I am wrong.
You might have trouble with the snow flap rubbing. My guess would be no, just a shorter tunnel extension than a 121 to 136.

Does anyone else know for sure if you need a tunnel ext and if I don't could I have problems with studs hitting the heat exchanger? If I do need an ext will I have to move the heat exchanger?

You will need to extend the tunnel for sure, if not the studs will take out the cooler, I extended mine and the studs had almost cut through the smaller crossover coolant pipe which is smaller than the cooler. I made my own extention using 1/8 aluminium , it took almost all day to extend and build the tunnel ext. but it was worth it. Measure 5 times and cut once, I had a sheet metal shop bend my tunnel on a metal brake, polished it and it looked better than factory.
