Why not have the intercooler on the outside of the sled?
Just remove the left side panel, build a aluminum enclosed clutch cover with a long narrow intercooler on top of it..
Should work way better than those intercooler's that are under the hood with all that heat and no airflow. You would actually get a good airflow over as well as the cooling from snow.
Might need a different custom hood that doesn't cover up the left side wher the intercooler would be..
I'm going to try this on my sled.

If you are going to install a custom hood just use a diamond S screen hood and you don,t need to fab up a new innercooler and it gets rid of all the under hood heat I am three main jet sizes higher than cpr recomends for there front mount and I am sure its due to no under hood heat which means more hp.

Another option is to go with a rear mount turbo, since the tube goes above the track to cool the air on the way forward.
