I am going to install a Camoplast Cobra track on my SE. I'm going to go with 160 1.45 studs all double backers down the middle, was wondering if it would be necessary to use extroverts to keep the track from ratcheting with the extra traction.

I used ski-doo extroverts, the main advantage is that you don’t have to worry about ratcheting any more. And with a looser track tension you will also reduce the wear on the hyfax (slides) which is a problem on Yamaha, specially when you tighten the stock track so it won’t ratcheting. It is also easy and a small cost to do when you are changing the track instead of doing it afterwards. The only negative thing could be a little more vibration and sound.

:letsnow:

What part number is the Ski-Doo extroverts? I have a buddy that wants to install extros on his 07 Attak. Are the Doo drivers better, cheaper than the Yamaha ones??

Thanks for any help.

FYI

I called 4 different SkiDoo dealers in my area and they all told me that you can no longer by the drivers seperate, you have to buy the whole axle for $320. I was trying to buy these drivers for my Nytro (part #504152503)

Thanks

I order them from this site at the beginning of the season. They were 39.99 a piece:
