EYE OPENER or should I say Nose opener

I was recently up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin with the TY Mercer group and was last in a long line of all 4 strokes, no smell, no sting no head ache it was great.

THis weekend I followed just 2 2 strokes and the smell, eye sting was bad. I can't believe I used to say I love that smell.

Four strokes really do RULE


Any one else notice a smell I used to think I liked now bugs me?

the thing i find funny is when your cruising down the trail then all of a sudden you smell 2stoke in the air. you can't see any sleds around but you know they are not too far away. then you meet them up the trail. ya i think after riding a 4stroke you can really notice the smell!

It's really funny because since I ride fast on the traisl I can smell up coming traffic lol

I used to think that is what winter smells like. Now it makes me sick to my stomach. Its amazing how much stronger it is when your not smelling it yourself all day.

Smoking is a bad habit, More and more people are quiting every day. I am talking about sledding. kviper

When my cousins are riding behind me, they say that my sleds smells like a 1960 Volkswagon with no cats.

I still stink when I start my Vector up in the garage, but instead of smelling like my 2 stroke snowblower, I smell like I was cutting the grass for an hour and a half with my Briggs & Stratton push behind.

The only sleds that smell foul to me are the Doos that run the BRP synthetic oil (it smells like burning plastic).

Outside of that, I never notice the odor of any 2 stroke in front of me that has a decent oil ratio (50:1 or so) and is using a good synthetic lube.

I am not very sensitive to smells but when I was following 6 yami 4 strokes I was trying and could not smell anything.

The best part about it is that when I get home I can throw my jacket on the couch or where ever I want and I no one will ever notice. I did that once with my firecat(that ran 57:1)jacket and my little pillows on the couch smelled like snowmobile for a few days.

I noticed the stink and the blue fog. It was odd, being outside, in the cold with apparently no breeze. It was ungodly hazy for MILES and I never saw the sleds who did it. It says I was either going their speed or they are really dirty?

My feelings exactly.

Also, when I'm on the trail and I smell 2-smoke, I know that I'm catching up to some sleds that I need to pass (safely) somewhere...

I agree with all of you, and I really get headaches almost instantly when I follow the 2 smokes. The best way to solve that situation is by leading.NO MORE HEADACHES. It's a great feelling
