I bought this apex mountain with an ez ryde 1 month ago it is great for the bumps and jumps but the front arm shaft bolts constantly loosen up even with loctite. I emailed ezryde about the issue so I will update later about how they handle the situation. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this if ezryde doesn't help. I'm sick of messing with this after every ride.

Are you able to get a lock nut on it. If not you could use a little super glue, but it will be very hard to get them out. Did you clean the area and dry it before you put the bolt in.

Ever hear of a Nordlock? These things work awesome.

Two serated washers that work against each other. Pretty much any fastner place can get them (fastenal by me)...a good doo trick to keep those exhaust bolts from comming loose....when you use these you swear you will break the bolt before you will get them loose.

The picture shows just how they go, takes two per bolt.

Its a bolt that screws into the shaft so a lock nut wouldn't work but where can I get the nordlock..yes I did clean it before I put it in and do you think super glue would work better than loctite

Would a lock washer not work just as well as those/that?

Never seen them before, just asking because I have no idea.

Could try stg 8 fasherns, there locking system will not come apart. I know this is turbo, I tried those norlock washers with no luck. Went to stg 8, problems solved. Yrs ago, company from southern BC made a rear suspension like the ezryde. It was kinda famous for bolts backing off all the time. Thinking might be the nature of the beast. There is alot of moving parts, 1 very big swing arm.

Nordlocks hold jackhammers together! You can get them at McMasterCarr.Stage8's would also work but the tab needs something to butt up against.
