I just got off the phone with Yamaha and they just told the dealer to go ahead and add the fan. This is on a brand new 07 fx with one mile. Also the 08 do have the fan stock.

MY 2007 MTX PHAZER CAME WITH A FAN!
I think all the MTX sleds did come with them. The base, gt,and fx did not.
Just a quick update, I got the sled back frrom the dealer lastnight. The fan is installed and works great. Also for people with the base sled they sent a new wiring harness with the fan kit. So there is now a updated wiring harness to add this on to the base sleds.
