was looking for alternatives. i have broken those clips in the cold before. or they slip. some guys have come up with some pretty sturdy mounting ideas that are also quick & easey.
thanks

clips
those 1" clips that come with the bags are no good. the strap slipps right through.
i took my bag to a guy and had the 1" strap replaced with 1 1/2" straps and installed the larger 1 1/2" cam buckles on the tunnel. it is much stronger and does not slip.
the strap that yamaha uses is also too soft and thats why it slips.
