well, finally got up to ride my new to me 06 nytro.First took off conditions were slightly icey so i took that into account for the terrible pushing in the corners.then during the ride got alittle better but still didnt like to stick unless u let the front end dive.It has Doolys,so need to check those or put on pilot 5.7's that my friend has.Next, hyfax wear,100 miles they are gone.need to pull skid back out and rebuild it with interior wheels that are gone as well. And a marginal kit.Pioneer isnt to far from me,i may go talk to them.Motor was awsome, very comparible to my wifes Z1.my friend was riding an 04 REV 600.Were back and forth except once he did pull on me.Shocks in rear need to be rebuilt for my weight :exc: ,loved the MPG it gets better than the Z1 and way better than friends carbed 600 rev.Very cold ride due to small windshield,i should get a new one since i will be riding with my 4 yr old in front.Overall i give it a  but need to fix the quirks to my liking and get it dialed.clicked off a fun 120 miles. Thanks for reading

any links to hyfax fixes are greatly appreciated, kinda upset about that.they were aftermarket "graphite"

Congrats on the nytro. Mine has been rock-solid. Understeer, ski lift, hard steering, I always seem to trade one for the other set-up wise and even day to day as conditions change. A shock rebuild and skid frame refresh are probably due as these made a big difference on mine last season. Bushings in the front end can also be checked out. I'm still on the stock hyfax with no problems. Lots of good info. on this site for these sleds. Enjoy the sled.

Try a search on idler wheels, in particular, extra and larger ones in size. They are very good at reducing slider wear. Do it quick, as it's no fun changing your sliders a few times a season.

It is even less fun doing them a few times on a single trip, as I did last year.

With the proactive skid you have to be real careful on where you put your extra wheels. Placed wrong and they could hit your springs, cross arms, or even shocks.

While your at pioneer pick up the 13mmsway bar you will need it eventually
