We finally have enough snow to get out there and get a feel for things:
1. '09 Frontend is much better IMO then the '08
2. Blue Pink Blue spring and the 14.5 rollers make the sled much easier to get around at low speed.
3. 55mph cruise speed at 7000rpm, 3300rpm engagement
4. Roll out of the throttle then pin it and it back shifts like I want it to.
5. Simmons Flex III are great skis, they make that sled work
6. MBRP pipe is throaty, but not stupid loud.
7. Tunnel block off plate is not a answer to the all the ice problems
8. Fox Floats, 55lbs not enough, 105 to much.
9. KLIM GEAR IS WORTH EVERY DIME!!!
10. 114 studs in a 144" track is not enough. I was going 35mph and then pinned it, spun the track.
11. Would like a firmer seat, seems a little squishy.
:letsnow: :yam: :rocks:

Mbrp

Do you have the trail version of the mbrp exhaust? I put a trail version on my sled over the summer and can't wait to get it out on the trail . Thanks for the info it really helps.

I run the 7inch powerderhounds on my sled, also work great, skis are a great upgrade on this sled for sure!

I have the MBRP, it gets louder over time i have to admit, almost past my taste now.

The block off will help, but wont eliminate the icing agreed!

Floats are fun to mess with I am at 75lbs now and might try 70 to start out this season now that i got my rear shocks rebuilt i hope they make the ride better since they were totally done i think i was running the floats higher than needed to compensate for the lack luster rear end.

Love the Klim gear as well, I have zero issues with mine other than i get too warm and run with it open lol!

I am running the BC track so no studs for me, but i agree lots are needed to harness this torque monster.

I hated the seat as well, just got the WRP Mountain assult +2" looks much better and the foam is much firmer, i am hoping this will solve my seat sag issues.
