First oil change help

First oil change for my 2015 Viper manual says 0w-30 but my friend has rode a Nytro for years and he uses 0w-40 full synthetic Klotz same motor.
Just wondering what everyone else is using ?

I used the YAMALUBE full synthetic. 0W-40 in gold quart

Dont forget to make a funnel. A 1ltr pop bottle cut in half top to bottom fits up through the big hole in the foot well after you remove the toe guard. Zero mess this way.
