Had the first ride and loved it but noticed when I let off the throttle there would be a sort of grinding noise from the clutches sometimes and more engine breaking then my nytro..
It seemed like the secondary was staying apart but would to go together after a bit of coasting?????
I'm only guessing this as I'm not at all a clutch guru.
In saying that it seemed like it got a little better after the first 60kms or so.
Wondering if something was sticking and just wore in after a bit of riding????

Just had mine in for first service had no grinding noise but clutch is noisier than apex and phazer they checked it out and said everything is fine. How much snow and where are you riding I want some.

Had a ride in white river road and back and out to big falls and on to hampden junction. Did 104 kms on the roads that were perfect!!!!!
Got off the road at the end of white river but it was a grey day and there's still a lot of $1000 bills hid away under the snow.
All in all a good day and enough to scratch the itch.
May not be anything with the clutch just may be different from the nytro and take some getting used to.

Ya I noticed the same noise with my 2015 coming from the clutch side, was most noticeable right before the sled come to a stop. Doesn't seem as loud once I put a 100km on it. Only have a 160km on it and haven't had any snow to ride!!

That's good to know.
I'll let it go for now unless someone weighs in here to tell me otherwise.
I'll get the dealer to check it out on the first service.
Snow situation here is crap too. Hope it soon turns around.

How are you finding that 2.25" track with the shitty snow conditions? Any cooling issues?

No issues. There was about 8 inches of pow when we had our ride.
In saying that I was watching the temp first into the ride and noticed it spiked to 87 and when right back down to 72-74 and the conditions were the same. Could have been a air bubble???dunno, but it was perfect after that.
Checked the anti freeze when I got back and saw it was about 2 inches below the fill cold mark. I never checked it from delivery so don't know if she blew it out, leaked out, or was not enough from pdi.
Will see I guess.

Good to hear. I have the same track on my SE. The main reason why I upgraded was because of the turbo, I'm thinking with the extra power I will need the bigger lug to prevent the sled from getting stuck. Then again I'm on the Avalon and no sign of snow at all.

Hey maybe you can let me know when you get good snow conditions your way, I'm planning a trip to the west coast as soon as the conditions are right.

Best kind.
I'm on the Avalon too but got a cabin on Bonne bay pond.
We are going over New Years so hopefully there'll be enough for a ride then.

You mean there isnt enough snow on the avalon for a ride?? :o|:letsnow: 10 degrees this morning isnt helping.

What's the meaning regarding the "still a lot of $1000 bills hid under the snow"?

It's because of Low snow conditions and Newfoundland is called the rock for a reason...lol!!!!!
A good many sets of a arms and front shocks have been left on the country around here early in the season. When everyone's itchin for a ride some of us head out under less then perfect conditions.
Don't take much on these sleds in repairs to add up to $1000....lol!!!!
