Looking4speed, do you have the coupling kit installed? It only came on very recent model year skids. If this kit isn't installed, you will get huge amounts of ski lift under throttle. I tried my sled for about 500 miles (2 days over a weekend) without it before installing the kit. Around $130 and it made a huge difference. Now I get great transfer, with just a slight amount of ski lift when accelerating hard, but I could even adjust that out if I wanted to. I let a couple guys try it on the lake yesterday morning and they couldn't believe how nice it rode or how much traction it had (because of the transfer).

I dont have the transfer kit on yet but it is ordered.Did you notice any loss of travel with the kit installed?

There is no loss of travel with the kit, it just controls the transfer better. It also firms up the suspension slightly because it makes better use of both shocks when going over bumps, instead of just one. Its all very adjustable though, so you can still get it exactly where you want it. I have mine set so that if I sit back on the seat and hammer the throttle in a high traction area, it will pull the skis a few inches up and hold them right there for 50 feet or so, then they start settling back down. But when I'm on trails and sitting in the middle of the seat they never come up. In fact, it cornered so well with the Cat skid that I almost didn't get the new sway bar links, but I finally did get them this fall. I don't know if they made a difference, but the skis NEVER lift in the corners now, and I corner very hard...hard enough to frequently power slide it through the corners.

It will be a night and day difference with the kit installed. Make sure you get the holes exact for the blocks. You need to drill 2 holes, and templates are provided with the kit. Tape them on and drill the holes. You also need to replace the rear arm, which is the hardest part, but still not too bad.
