First snow, First Ride

Glad to hear things are going good up there! Aside from that sketchy swinging suspension bridge that Yammerhead mentioned, Canada doesn't sound half bad! lol

I miss the mountains, real trees, 3 foot snow dumps and living on the lake.

Can not complain to much up here though. To play hockey was much cheaper, health care system is great no matter what the rumors say, taxes are not that bad, I can watch my dog run away for days (good or bad thing). Generally, Canada has just been a good fit. Lots of opportunity here.

What, you didn't even mention the swinging suspension bridge!

The bridge is sketchy until this year. Finally fixed all the rotten and stressed boards.

I loved it. Lived in Buxton on Bonny Eagle but good jobs were a rarity so had to move.

Boy you speak the truth, left there 8 years ago for the same reason (and the complete and utter absence of women). When I hit the lottery I am going to have a camp up there someday however...

Don't get me wrong, I had some fun, but for the most part women there fall into these categories:

1. Cute girls in their early 20's who have their pick from any of 10 diff guys....and then get married or leave state anyway

2. Married, taken, or lesbians

3. Giant cows with 5 kids and no teeth
