I found the steps on the awesome site so this weekend my son and I are going to change the plugs. I spoke with a Yamaha dealership and they said I should change them once a season. Since I'm not sure how it was stored last Spring, I will change them now.

Any tips for a rookie?

This will be a good experience for us. If I ever have to do them in an on the trail, it will be nice to have one change under my belt.

Thanks guys!

I posted it on hear somewhere I thought. You should just bring it over to my house and I will help you.

xc_phazer137,

That would be great. I would love to have some one walk us through it.

You free this Sunday? If so, drop me an email at:

Thanks a ton!!!!!

its tricky, first time is a blast and honestly you learn more about the sled then you'd normally think, when I did mine I totally stripped the tank, makes things much much easier to get at. although if you end up swapping them on the trail (which is very very very unlikely) youshould be able to nudge the tank back enough to slide your arm in and give the splug tubes a yank, withough disconecting any of the fuel lines or electrical plugs. although xc_phazer more then likely knows more about this then I do and should be able to give you an easier way.
