I pulled my Hurricane flasher out storage box today to plug it in and check all the flashes I have on it. When plugged in to the laptop, the GAP application cannot find the device.
On the flasher, the red light comes on but blinks, in between blinks it pulses blue.
Is my flasher junk? Has anyone fixed these? If I had to buy a new flasher, would all my tunes be stored on it?

I opened the flasher to look for corrosion, none found.
I wonder if these 2 connections are broken? I don't really want to make a connection there if it is not meant to be for fear of frying something....

upon further inspection, I don't that is my problem. I think I may be screwed. I am not sure I want to shell out another $550 bucks for another flasher.

Have you tried a different usb port ?I pulled my Hurricane flasher out storage box today to plug it in and check all the flashes I have on it. When plugged in to the laptop, the GAP application cannot find the device.

If you have ,I would reinstall the GAP application....from your description it looks more like a communication issue than a hardware issue .
