Flatlander going out west.

My first time out west I took a friends 151" x 2-1/4" RMK 800 with NOS. You can get that stuck just as easy as a short track.

It depends on what time of the year you are going.I have been out west in middle of March and the snow was set up pretty good longer warmer days and cooler nights. Didn't have much of a problem. Now that I have FI I would take mine out there even though I have a 121.

I bought a Attak 'trail sled' this year and do use it in the Bear Lake area in Utah/Idaho. We currently have 6 feet of dense base with up to 2 feet powder on the top for the last 2 weeks. It would be better to have my RX1 Mountain, but the Attak runs good at stock specs. So it isn't a necessity that you change anything. I however did gear down and lightened my weights last night to compensate for our 4500 to 8500 altitude. Havn't been stuck yet, but I'm not trying to highmark. - Hooker
