Flex joint/donut elimination kit

First time I've seen this when I accidentally saw it while searching for something else. Seems to be a viable solution to cracked pipes and broken flex joints. Anybody ever try this kit or something similar? Probably could DIY your own kit if you can source the appropriately sized flex joint.

I am in no way affiliated to this guy. Just passing it along as a solution to broken exhausts, which I would have loved to know about when I broke my pipes twice

I did it and it’s a nice mod ! Will see how it holds up , but by the looks of it will be better then the the donuts !
I used my stock Y-pipes , need to cut. If you have aftermarket pipes like I have the cut is slightly different. I cut Y-pipes and the new flex pipes to get fit better . Let me know if you have an issue

I utilized some heavy duty couplers back in 2005 when I built the header for my Rage. That project was more in line with looking for gains, as we didn't know too much about the failing exhaust donuts at that time.
