Installing new copper donunts and stainless pipes and since I have everything apart I am replacing all exhaust bolts including the ones going into the block. Does anyone know if there is anything that I should be putting on them to hold fast and make it easier to remove if need in the furure.

Thanks

Replacement of the clamp bolts (y-pipe to flex) isn't a bad idea, for some reason the Phazer has a different style that uses a coated shoulder SHCS rather than a bare std. one. I would go with those if possible, order both just in case they don't fit for some reason. As for the flex to block bolts, I would only replace if damaged or corroded, and I would use the OEM ones as they are the exact length and have the shoulder.

I always coated mine (threads) with Never-Sieze, and it made the following years disassembly much easier. Never had an issue with them comming loose either. While you are using the copper andakw think this should be the last time in there I wouldn't bet the farm on it. The pipes will eventually go.

x2 I've always added the "neverseize" product I believe they sell a hi heat version, it probally all burns off anyway, it will smell and smoke after everything is reinstalled. It is a PIA but I go back in after a 7-800 kms and retorque them. The new bolts with the flange on them stay much tighter . With the updated bolts/donuts the exhaust has lasted 2000kms longer (up to 6500kms now)than it ever has before and is still going.
