Flipped guage pod with windshield

I've seen this done on here, but not with the windshield. Just flip the mount upside down. I had to cut about 1/4 inch off the sides of the bracket so it would clear the windshield mount. Bent it to the angle I wanted. And routed wires and cables outside the windshield mounts. I think it looks way better and is out of the way in case of a rollover (not that I ever crash) :crap: Best part is, its free.

Yeah, I cut the tab off along with some more material so it would fit between the w/s mounts without rubbing.
 
Have you gone out riding after you did all of that? I am asking because I did the same thing with the windshield and the throttle cable was to tit so it started to take off on me. Be careful.

Did you disable your TORS?
 
Its been 60 for two weeks, unfortunately I can not go ride it. But I checked the steering lock to lock and it didn't seem to pull. I was concerned about that, and will have to remember that when I pull it out next winter.

What is TORS?
