Anyone try float 3 on rear skid? (ltx se) Just want more adjustability. One rate on a high performance sled sucks. Would be nice to adjust to condition. Like x package sleds.

Fox float 3's are not anymore adjustable than the 2's and the reason they didn't put the 3's in is because of the air fitting. You would not be able to put air in the 3's if they were in your skid. Or it would be very difficult.

Are you saying 2s would be an improvement over stock or should I just revalve it. Way too stiff I have not even come close to bottoming it even on the biggest g-outs.

Fox float 2 are not an improvement over the 3's. It just that you can't put the 3's in the skid because it would be really hard to get air in them. They made the 3's with a different coating and located the air valve in a better spot to make it easier to put air in them with the pump. The air valve sticks straight out, making it easier. If that were in the rear skid it would be very hard to put air in them. That's why they use the 2's in the skid of the XTX and not the 3's. Right now the 3's are only made for the front ski shocks.

I guess I will just do a revalve. The cat catalog has the 3s for rear skid, but I see what you mean about putting air in it. I do have the 3s up front and noticed the diff. Thanks.
