My recently bought XTX LE has the GYTR front and rear skid plate. The rear portion is really nice but I don't like having to remove it to do an oil change. I was thinking of cutting it into 3 pieces to so I can just take the center off. Had anyone else done this?
I was also thinking instead of putting the center and front on, I'd get a Skinz float plate and put that on instead. I like how it covers part of the a-arms and more of the front end.
Thoughts?

Thanks! I was thinking of separating it into 2 side pans and a middle pan but there's lots of good info in there.
That mod works awesome! Highly recommend. BleedYamaha came up with a great solution there.
