here is a good one for you,two of us have rx1 mountains, the dealer they came from last year thought they cured the problem by changing the float level to maxximum setting, this year we installed the new float bowls and went to the mountains, left the floats where they were set ,sled ran ok up to 6000 feet, when it was shut off it would have to turn over alot due to alot of gas inhaled, thgen at 7000 feet it couldnt even pull itselfs up bunny slopes, hit 6000 rpm and puke,i am thinking with the high float level and the updated bowls is whats causing the problem, but cant understand why it does fine under 5000 feet, starts and pulls great, anyone??????

What was the original problem, was it dying going up or down a steep hill. If you changed the problem by installing the float bowls, pull them back off and check the o-rings around the main jet extension to make sure you got them in the right place and then check check the main jets. I did the float bowl kit myself and then it sat on a shelf for awhile pulled the bowls back off to install ecps kit and they were all gummed up, must have been somethink they were packed in. Cleaned with carb cleaner and reinstalled.Doubble check float settings,if you need specs and procedure ask.
