Folks, I am currently completing the float bowl upgrade. Including in the kit is a jet extension, along with 2 o-rings. Oviously one o-ring goes around the base of the extension (in the same manner as the original), but I have no idea where the other oring would go?
Any ideas? The fatter oring on the right is the one that goes around the base of the extension. The thinner one on the left is the one in question. Ive already ruled out the bowl drain screw.
Thanks!

The second oring goes into the little grove of the extension, right above where the main jet screws in the bottom.
Hope this helps.

Travis, use the thick o-ring at the base of the extension. The second o-ring I didnt use at all.

Only necessary on 2003's. All the models after that were updated from the factory.

My 04 warrior did not have the update from the factory. I think it was 05 before the non mountain sleds got the update. First time I had my warrior out west I almost rolled it down the mountain the first time it died while climbing. Eric

Okay I gotta ask since I have an 03. What is this for and why? Never knew there was a carb update besides the obvious upgrades of doing the ECP kit.

With out the update your sled can be starved for fuel when its at extreame angles. When this happens is stumbles or dies completely. This is very bad when riding in the mountains. The update kit seals the jet into a fuel pocket inside the float bowl and the bowl will not run dry even when the sled is upside down

Apparently at sharp angles the fuel would migrate to one side of the bowls and the engine would get starved, leading to hesitation/stalling and potential rider death and/or dismemberment (I had the dealer do mine when I bought it so I never had the pleasure).
It looks to me like the new bowls have the jets sticking down in a little reservoir to prevent starvation.
Darn! I type too slowly!
So that explains why my old gsxr 750/907 would seem to run out of gas doing mile long wheelies down the e-way. Thats why those stunt guys go so slow now. Thank you!!
