Fogged Digital Display

Just put 2000 miles on in Quebec and each day on the trip the glass on the digital display began to fog internally.

By end of the trip I could hardly read the Tack.

Whats with this ??

Any simple cure? Have yet to contact dealer.

Yamaha ingenuity. What you don't see won't hurt you. Actually its a common problem. Yamaha has a fix which may or may not work. On mine they replaced and sealed the bezel and sealed the back where the harness goes through. It helped but did not eliminate the problem. Next step is to replace the cluster - warranty

There is a tech update for that...basically they take apart the gauge clean the fog off and replace the oring. If your sled isn't under warranty you'll probably get billed but it depends on the dealer. If you're handy you can take the gauge apart and clean it your self.
