C J, I know a few people were asking about over night accomadations. I think some wanted to know if we would be returning after Wed. ride, back to Flat Rock, or wether we would be getting a Hotel somewhere out on our ride, where they would have to carry a few things on their sleds for the overnight stay. I know after talking to you, the intention is to return to our starting place after the first days ride, and leave from there again the next morning and ride different trails. I don't think you made that clear in your posts. I am posting this so you can comfirm I am correct. Although Flat Rock Inn has some rooms, they don't have alot. If anyone is looking for a good place to stay, The Ridge View Motor Lodge in Lowville, is a very nice place according to some friends of mine. It is on Rt. 12 Just North of Lowville, east to get to, and only a 25 minute snowmobile ride to Flat Rock, Their Tele # is: 315-376-2252.

Gordon thanks for the info. I'm kind of leaving it up to the individual to pick a place to stay. But yes I was thinking we could stay someplace along the trail after the ride. But then that depends on where we are riding to. Old Forge? or Where ever. Gordon do you feel comfortable leading the pack? So far we have about 10-15 sleds/riders. I would say we can all talk about where we're going and where we'll all stay the morning of the ride at Flatrock Inn. I just don't wanna stick my neck out here.So lets just leave it at that ok with you? Let me know Gordon and thanks for getting back to me.

First of all CJ, you can't ride with Gordan without me. Second, we need to decide about where we are staying before the trip gets underway. We need to know if we are staying in Old Forge, or Tug Hill, inorder to get rooms. I would love to stay in Old Forge, but I want to stay where the group is staying. This needs to be decided before we go. Let me know. Oh, one more thing, nice of you to get snow after I leave. I was there for 10 days and only had one fun day of riding.

Mother nature playing a cruel trick on us. Ok it's like this. Are we going to ride to Old Forge? I'll do a poll and see what everyone wants to do ok?
