When I would foul a plug on my 01 tcat it wasnt as noticable as fouling one on my twin. With the purchase of my RTX I am curious to know if it is easy to notice when a plug is fouled and with the limited access to the plugs any tricks to figure out which plug went bad. Probably will never happen but just curious.

Should never happen. I have never fouled one yet on my 03 RX-1. They are not that hard to take out. I took them out once just to see how hard it was. Had all four out in about 5 minutes. I don't even have spare plugs for mine. Like to see you do that with a 2 smoker. :D

I agree that is should never happen but its not a 5 minute job on the Apex. Maybe 10-15 minutes in a warm shop and maybe 30 minutes in the cold. ===SRXSRULE===

You havent looked at apex close have you? You cant even find the engine in 5 minutes. If someone has to change plugs on the trail they're going to have a project on their hands.

Hi gamer welcome to this site and to yammi, you may never foul a plug again, but than again it can be done,so be careful about starting up and shuting down the motor before its completely warmed up,that is how you could foul one,so just keep an eye on how you start it up and shut it down, now this is no problem if you go and ride it,only if its in your garage, good luck i am sure you will love it,and it will be trouble free. ;)!

To answer your question, yes it is easy to tell when a plug is fouled. It skips very noticibly.

If you let it warm up properly, you should never foul a plug!
