this may sound alittle strange but i set up the radar run the same as last 2 weeks. i have a 05 rx1er with team clutching only,no other mods. i have 2500 miles on the machine and have had to replace hyfax twice. i purchased the oversize wheel kit and added one set of wheels near the rear of the machine trying to eliminate hyfax wear. the result was 4 mph 112mph top speed now!, anyone have any comments?

Conditions change from week to week. That difference is really not indicative of the changes. What you would have to do is test it, make the change and in 5 minutes, test it again on the same track.

conditions change?
i hear what you saying LB but this was on a icy run area almost no snow and i have been running this area for about 3 weeks and have consistantly run 107,108 mph. suddenly 112mph, The other thing is if the hyfax are wearing that much there has to be drag. but that;s for the input.

Better air quality(higher atmospheric pressure) will give you a lot better performance.

could be that you have less drag...they say that also when you add graphite hyfax it can add as much as 3-4mph top end..

I just bought some and it even feels more slippery than standard hyfax.

Save your money. A stock Rx doesn't have the power to pull it. Now a turbo.............. well the 25 is not enough.

Or if you have NOS you need a 25!!

Mine has 1300 miles on it, and pulls 113 with stock gears, original hyfax (still in excellent shape) and no extra wheels.

I would like to see what kind of MPH you could pull with a 25???

speed
119.2 mph stk gearing no over drive. just clutching and jetting. (dolton clutching) i dont think a 25 tooth will help you that much. do some jetting and clutching
