If you are unfamiliar with the components of a shock, there is a little floating piston that is not attached to the shaft. The purpose of this piston is to seal the shock oil from the gas. When your rebuilding the shocks, it is important to set the depth of this piston just right. Have it set too deep, the piston will hit the bottom and the shaft will not be able to compress fully. Have it set too high, then the shaft end will hit the piston as it compresses.
Would anyone know how deep this piston has to be set at? I can find other makes specifications on the net, but can't find anything for SOQI shocks.
