Fox Float Air shock adjustment pressures

Have an 2006 Apex RTX which I just bought. It has fox float air shocks. Does anyone have any charts, paper work etc for adjusting these ? ther is nothing in the owners manual on how to adjsut. I do have the pump.

Most of the guys here pump them to 45-50 psi for best handling and cornering. always adjusted air pressure when the nose of the sled are lifted (no pressure on the shock).

Just go on the fox web site and you'll find the manual just for the floats that should have come with sled. My sled was new and did not come with one but should have.

60 lbs is just right on them .

Use whatever pressure is required to level the arms. Start there. Specific psi to do that varies with skid setup.

To level my a-arms it is at about 27-30 lbs. For on trail that is perfect. Off trail, between 50-60 lbs. When I am lake racing I drop to about 20 lbs so the a-arms are just below parallel. Keep in mind that everything you do up front will have an effect on your rear suspension and traction.

Is there a minimum pressure you can safely run them at?
I think the 09 Nytro RTX says don't go below 50 PSI

What about the rear? Anyone running 120-150? I have one modified for that pressure safely

There may be a min. pressure spec. somewhere, but I haven't seen it. They don't have much of a bumper for preventing damage from bottoming. That would be my only concern running much below 35-40 psi.

If you read through that maintenance .pdf manual, you'll see a note towards the end regarding free valving tweeks for those requesting it within to first 90 days of ownership. Just wondered if anyone had heard about that in time to take advantage of it? I never heard a thing about that until reading it there a while back.... would have been nice to know about that through Yami? Maybe Fox doesn't offer it any more?

when we talk about setting air pressure at 37-40 the weight is of the front end of the sled, mine are set at 37, bottom a-arms are level with ground. corners great
