Hello,
I just picked up a 07 RTX last week, still has 0 miles. I did get to ride it from my trailer to my shed. (60 feet!) Still waiting on winter. Looking like El Nino for this part of the country through the rest of the year.
Anyway, i was wondering if anyone uses the fox float guards on here? And if they are any good at protecting the shocks. Also are they sold in a pair or seperately?
Ill post some pics/video eventually, someday it will snow or worse case scenario i have off 10 days in two weeks.

I picked up a pair of the hard plastic ones from the Yamaha catalog and they work GREAT!! I originally ordered the Yellow ones but the color match was terrible so I sent them back and put the Black ones on. I drove through two feet of powder and they did not plug up with snow or ice like some thought they might. They come as a set for $24.95, cheap insurance I think. I also have a RTX and just put on 673 miles on it this last weekend in the UP, you will love this sled!

I bought them too. Color match sucked so I painted them then a few other pieces. I didn't like how the back of the guard rubbed the thicker part of the shock body so I put on some high density foam with sticker backing. That way the foam rubs on the protector and not the shock body. Worked great for 200 miles so far. Hardly any wear so far. Next time I might use 1/4 inch rubber. Just place it 1/3 the way around the shock body where the protector comes in contact with them.
I have a set of Genuin Carbon Fibre Fox Float Guards from RPM Composites...never been used and looking for a new home.
PM me if interested.
