I'm sure this has been covered before, and I did do a search, but I came up empty handed. I just got some Fox Floats with Fett Bros. Canisters. What is a good air pressure starting point? Thanks.

I know that the yamaha '08 maunal suggests starting at 75 PSI for the front Fox float shocks for the Nytro MTX. I have run mine as low as 50 and as high as 80 just to see how it handled. I found if I had too much it made the sled feel really tippy to me and if i ran them too soft it felt really unresponsive to rider imput. I run mine currently around 65 PSI and have the original Fox float shocks with no sway bar.
It matters if you are running the Fox Float and Float 2 shocks because the Float 2 has a different valve stack inside.

I run mine at 65psi also. I've tried between 55 and 80 and I noticed that with to low of pressure it will side hill easier but handles like I'm riding on top of a beach ball! With the higher pressures the handling is more stable, but is harder to side hill. Also the ride is a little stiffer up front.

I think your description was a lot better then mine. The beach ball was a perfect analogy for too low of a pressure in the shock That is exactly what it felt like to me as well. These shocks are pretty sensitive to changes in air pressure.

Right now, I went with 75 psi since I have the canisters on there. Seems like I got a lot of sag when I lowered my sled down off the jack though. Sagged about 1.5"-2". I think it did the same with the stock shocks, but don't remember.
