I said Bob, after i get back from my trip Im bringing in my primary, how much to break it down and shim it???

With all the sleds you bought from me it will be on yamaha or me, it will cost you nothing. He also handed me 4 qts/ltr of the yamaha semi oil. At the end I said lets settle up on the oil. He said just take it. I dont even remember what the price on it is he smiled.

He said of all the RX machines he sold in 04 and 05 only 2 used oil and those were the guys that were overfilling.

He said tell those guys on the forum that if you are gonna let your sled sit for more then 2 months run the carbs dry and drain the bowls.

The pilot jets are tiny tiny and this is gonna be the biggest problem with them

What about using Stabil or Seafoam as a fuel stabilizer? A bit easier? than draining the bowls.

It is Recreation Plus in Twin lakes WI, about 35 minutes from the Kenosha house, he is really a good guy.

A few people who bought late summer delivery 05 sleds ended up with clogged pilots. After the last ride of the season, i'd run them dry. It is very easy with these front mounted carbs (on the 2 cycles it was a pain in the arse)
