Hopefully everybody would back me on this one, but I'd go for one of the TY rides in Wisconsin or the U.P. Since you have a turbo sled, you'd love the long trails and wide open spaces in the U.P.
I would assume that your travel plans would have to be pretty firm and a no-snow in other areas would be more likely depending on the time of year.
Once you come to a TY ride, you'll be hooked!

The UP has good riding, but it really depends on what kind of riding you want to do and where to go.
If I could go any where I would go to Alaska or the western part of the U.S. ... mountains and powder.
What kind of riding are you looking for?

Anywhere on the north shore of the Upper penninsula of Michigan is your best chance at the best snow in the midwest. Towns like Houghton/Hancock, Munising, Grand Marais, Paradice, and Brimley. As far as night life there really isn't alot to offer in the U.P.. Houghton/Hancock is a college town and there are some fairly busy night spots. Brimley has a Hotel/Casino that has fantastic facillities. Are you guys looking to trail ride or mountain riding/boondocking?

Meyers in Ishpeming in the UP rent yamaha sleds. It is kind of right in the center of the up snow belt. You should try and arrange your trip with someone from the area or who knows the area. It canmake it a much more enjoyable time. Maxdlx

Aroostook County, "The County" has 17.4 million acres, is the size of the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island combined, and has close to 6,000 miles of snowmobile trails.
If we run out trails we can cross the border and ride Quebec, Gaspe' and New Brunswick, Canada.
The we have very little traffic.
Let me know when you are coming, I'll ride with you!

i hate to bring up an old topic but i just had to post my rambling here. riding in the US is fine and all, i rode in Wisconsin a few times last year and I also had the chance to ride in Colorado a few years back, off all the places I've riden and of all the places I will ever ride not a single trip will ever come close to comparing with Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. It's not only the incredible trail system that makes this trip fun, you also have the option to take a guided tour of the ENTIRE park! also an average annual snowfall of 13' is just beyond words and makes for a fresh riding experience everytime you're out that way.

I'm with Hondo on this one alot of the guys down south drive up to Quebec to ride and there is so many places in Quebec that rents sleds. Offer guided tours from 1 day to 7 day tours. Or check out the TY SnowTrain Ride, that would be the experience of a life time and you get to ride with all the TY guys
