Looking for opinions on what the best front end set up would be on my Nytro XTX. I ride mostly trails and ditch banging with the occasional soft snow riding. I would like to still use my stock spindles and shocks. What are your opinions on the best set of A Arms to switch to?

have not used, but have heard that the skinz a-arms are the way to go. im sure someone will chime in w/more info on them. if you go to youtube you can watch video's on them how they perform.

I have the skinz 39" wide on my mtx. They are more stable and predictable than the stock xtx is. However am using elkas with the skinz and when I ran them on the xtx it was very flat cornering and predictable. The stock shocks are just terrible.

You will not be disappointed with the skinz front end.

blu2u2 has a z- bros 43" setup for sale I see and is able to use your stock shocks. If I recall it is 43" +1" forward. Could save you abunch of money. It is in the classifieds

I've got about 1500 miles on my 42" "concept" front end and cannot say enough good things about it! I can get you either Super Chrome or Satin Black shipped out the same week it's ordered. So for now, the long lead times are gone for the 42" kit. For shock options, I'm running Elkas this year since I've never been fully satisfied with a set of shocks, I'm offering a $50 discount on Elkas when purchased with a front end as a new to OFT Racing product. But I can also set you up with floats, Exits or retrofit floats if your sled has them.

Hit me up, OFT Racing has you covered for all your front end needs!

I looking for something that would be good on trail and ditch banging. Would the Z Bors 40 +3 be good for that. I want an all around good set that is good for trail and powder riding (not mountain riding) but playing off trail in deeper snow.

That is their trail setup. They have a narrower style for powder and mountains. Same with skinz. If you get the z bros call them for the heavy duty ball joints. Cheap insurance IMO. Btw if you call them they are willing to explain the difference between their types and all the others

I can not tell you one is better then another but for that much of a deal is one that much better is the question I have

I'm a dealer for both, so either way I'd love your business and I'd be happy to sell either. I personally like the Skinz because it's what I have the experience with. My Z-Broz experience is a couple years old now and they have changed a lot since then. I can tell you that you will love the Skinz 42" for what you described. It is just as at home on the trail as it is on the mountains and makes the sled a whole new sled in any condition. I am switching to the 39" this year because I'm not a trail rider but I ran the 42" last year just to give some feedback on a front end that did not have a lot of reports at the time.

Fortunately at OFT Racing we've got enough shock options (as low as $200) that the shocks should not play that big of a roll in your decision. But you can chose by what front end you think is best for you instead.

Being a dealer I'm not going to tear one down to sell another, but I will tell you I would go with a new style front end and not a older that retained the stock (or close to) "wheelbase".

Email me if you'd like to pick my brain on front ends.

I have the factory race kit on my sled but if it stock I would definitely be going with the Skinz!

As far as shocks, I am going to be running the Elka Stage 5 shocks on mine. Stock works well but with racing we are pushing things to the edge and I want the best shocks on my sled which in my opinion is Elka.

OFT is a great company to deal with and Rick will take good care of you!!
