Has anybody purchased a different front bumper for their Viper? I have a 2015 Viper Stx-Le and I am considering getting a Skinz or Yamaha sport bumper. The reason is two fold. Their is next to nothing to grab when moving the front of the machine when stuck etc. also if you go off trail their is no protection from any stumps, brush etc. By the way if you have one of these bumpers, do they get in the way of changing the oil from the under side. Also can you post any pics?

Thanks Sweeper

I would get the skinz if it came in white... i like the looks of it better and that it comes with a bigger skid plate for the front. but the Yamaha sport and the skinz both protect the same area under the sled and i can't talk for skinz but the Yamaha bumper does not interfere at all with changing the oil. the skinz is a little harder to install to, skinz has a install video and if you watch it the bumper mounts in the same holes as the lower a arms so you have to unbolt the lower a arms to install it.

Does anyone make a front bumper for the Viper that is similar in style to the Timbersled Nytro front bumber? It's clean and simple, yet cool looking!

I can get you a skinz bumper in white!

Really!? Did they start making them in white or do you get the unpainted one front them and powder coat it?

They are available in black from my supplier.....but I have a powedercoater next door to my dad's welding shop. I sell the bumpers for $165 in my online store. Beings I'm already under list price I'd have to charge a little extra to have it blasted and coated. Lets say $175-180 plus ship to have one coated white.

We both run the yamaha sport bumpers. They are very light weight yet strong and protect the lower &upper plastics very well with how it wraps around the hood. Its a great grab handle too.
Plus the price is reasonable. View attachment 109702
This orange one is powder coated correct?

Walter. Its a blue yamaha bumper that I painted orange. I will probably get it powder coated some day but its holding up very well for the abuse that it gets.

Think I might of asked you that before haha, I am just looking for a orange one? do they make one for the 7000? anybody know?

Just remember the plastic on then viper is pointed and the 7000 is flat. The oem bumpers for cat and Yamaha follow those body lines so even though they would bolt right up might not look quite rite. Just get the yamaha one, you wont reget it. ;)
