I'm curious as to what kind of problems there is with under hood heat from a front mount turbo.

judging from the turbo i saw at the dealer yesterday...
jk. some poor fool that appeared to have installed a front mounted turbo system in his rx1 himself and had his sled there. shop manager said it caught fire shortly after throwing a rod through the bottom of the sled...said he was just cruising down the trail...NOT! anyhow the fire did a number on the engine compart and worst of all, the insurance adjuster had just been there and said no way they would pay for that.
