I installed a set of piggy back GYTR on my FX Nytro RTX instead of the Fox. I found dramatic inprovement in my sleds small bump ride. They really worked good and IMO better than the foxs. I found the foxes didnt soak up the small stutter bumps at all. Also my suspension settings are down 1 on the front limiter strap and rebound and compression and both shocks 5 clicks from the softest. Let me know what you guys think.

Hmmm.....it's funny how float's work better on some sleds than others. They seemed to work good on cat's and from what I heard the apex's as well....but I don't think anybody ran them on their rev's because for some reason they didn't jive.
For sure keep us updated....

Simple, in general there is more of an sleds weight on the front of an Rev or Nytro. The front doesn't "Float" over the stutters like on an normal sled, it plows into them more.

I put Ohlins piggies on mine, I didn't want to waste a winter trying to make floats work. They are not a great trail shock on these sleds, other will argue I'm sure. If you have ever seen one taken apart and seen how small the air chamber actually is you will realize why they are non linear.
jojo, did you do this back to back on the same day...?...that would be the best if possible.
some guys swear by the floats.....maybe due to conditions and type of riding I guess.

I have to believe air chamber size is exactly the issue here. Even at 55psi it seems the front only travels so far....then stiffens up in a hurry. I think changing the air pressure may do more for changing ride height than it actually changes the "spring rate". If you can't change piston size, air chamber size, or arm rate as was done on the pro-action rear suspension...ride height is about all that you can change....
Bout time I looked into reservors........

I ordered air chambers last night so I will be testing them out in a week or so. A firm here in Sweden that sell some that they make cheap.
