I can't get the adjustment to tighten the preload on the front shock. Does it help to get the back off the ground. Any help would be appreciated

It is a bugger to work on and forget getting a spanner tool in there to do it. Screw driver and hammer to loosen the lock and then go at it with the screwdriver to rotate. Depending on what direction you are going, I find it easier to go at it from one side of the sled or the other. It is easier with the back in the air.

drop the aluminium jam nut right of the thread body......lift the back of the sled so that track is of the ground. With a decent leather or rubber glove turn the whole spring and nut by hand....not so, even for us with girlie hands.

I was wondering if i was to turn up the middle shock spring, would it make my front end float better?

Take off the idler on the opposite side of the resevoir. Makes spring adjustment a breeze

Such a simple solution to an annoying problem that never occured to me. Thanks Miley!
