Always rode Cat,But know I have an Attak and a Rage for the wife...I rid e mostly groomed trails with her but still like playing off trail as much as I can and always used Artic cat Mountain cat skiis for the floatation (wider) I'm affraid to try the powderpro's or anything with duel carbides after riding the 2006 attak demo last spring because this thing handled like it was on rails front end was glued to the trail (In a good way) But I'm thinking that duels would be to much...Any ideas or does anyone know if the Yamaha Mountain skiis will fit the Attak

I have had C&A Pro skis for the past 4 years on different sleds and love them on all of them. I have an Apex GT coming and right after putting on my supercharger will be C&A Razor skis, they are awsome for trail riding, not sure about the deep snow capabilities.

I can make skis from 5-11 inches wide. How wide do you want them? The ones I like the best are ekhol, 3 8.5"

I'm also interested in a ski change out on my Attak, looking for better floatation qualities in the POW. I'm new to the heavier front end of the 4-Stroke Yammi, so this is a learning curve for me. I've tried about every aftermarket brand over the years, C&A; Simmons: USI; SLP's PP's and SLT's. But again, different sleds react differently to ski changes. As always hoping not to lose the handling sharpness of the OEM's on hardpack. Since the Attak is new this year, I suspect what worked on the Warrior may not be the answer for the Attak, time will tell. any and all helpful input will be appreciated. My worst fear is that I will get a ski that works better in the POW, but at the same time increases steering pressure on the hardpack. I know that it is probably not possible to get the best of both worlds out of one set of skis.
