Frosty, couldn't get this info to go across PM (says it's too large), but here's some more information for you or anyone who is interested on the Advant-Edge R3 roller secondary.

Allen

Thanks Allen. I appreciate all the tips you gave me last evening. If these babys really put another 4-6 hp to the ground they will make my short list of RX-1 upgrades.

See Yah

So Allen, when are you going to test the Paragon?

Buckeye, I've been TRYING to justify the $800 for the paragon for two seasons now. I am currently looking at a used one and the guy claimed it didn't work, that's my biggest fear is having a $800 piece of junk sitting on the shelf! I do know that you won't see a gain on the track dyno with the paragon. Everyone I've talked to who has found gains said it was only found after tuning in the field.

I hear you on the $$. But the concept is intriquing. I would like to hear some first hand results before I buy into it.

Yes the Paragon sure looks nice but man what a price!

I like the theory of the Super Torquer secondary too but haven't heard much good about it.

The Team is good if you can get it tuned

The ER roller is good too.

I just want one that I can not have to devote a full season to get dialed in. I'm still a little concerned with what appear to be excessively low initial helix angles on these roller setups. I'm affraid they won't load the motor like the initial 54 degree angle on my 54/42 Dalton helix.
Yes, I know it must be apples and oranges but................

Call John McLeod at 605 996 5151. He ran the Paragon all last year. Said it works great, but it is heavy. Duane wants to get the cost down but in the quantities he makes them it is difficult. He would not mind selling the patents to a bigger manufacturer from what I hear. The biggest selling point is it is really easy to get the clutching perfect. That said, I myself will stick with something lighter and do the gruntwork if I need to.

Heel-X is the same idea and i hade no luck with it on my F7.
