Just calculated my total fuel consumption for a recent trip to Quebec. Exactly 825 miles and a total overall fuel economy of 14.6. This was a verydetailed test of fuel use. Some tanks were more like 16.5 but overall the 14.6 is more real world for the fast trails in the Val d'Or area. Not a lot better then my 2001 SRX which got between 12.8 and 13.5 for the same running. Sled is a totally stock 2006 GT with 4500 miles.

Recent trip to maine 1200 miles average 16 to a high of 17.87.07 er with 5566 miles 1 inch track and everything else stock.

I get 14 when be easy and 12-13 normal riding. It's not very impressive for a 4 stroke.

I have the same sled as you and 2 years ago in Val d'Or the worst fill up I got was 18 miles per gallon to Rapid Seven, and that was on the throttle big time pushing them Bombies .The rest of the 500 mile trip I got 20 every fill up.My chum with a 03 -800 Rev got 10 all day [Imperial gallon]!!!I'd like to go back there this year but we have record snow here, 12 FT. so far ,so it's hard to travel.

Quick and dirty calculations always seem to give me 13mpg to 14mpg on my Apex.

I find my 07 apex is a piggy.

might just be the way i ride her tho

but she is hard on gas.. no better than my buddies 02 yammi viper 700

he always beats me at the pump.. if you don't include the oil cost.

I am usually around 14 on groomed trails, any snow or soft base and she drops some. 06 GT

08 Apex LTX, seems to be always around 15 mpg. The wifes 05 Vector around 18 mpg when running with me.
